Reports to: Station Supervisor, Production Management, VP of Manufacturing
Primary Purpose: Our Soap Artists create our beautiful and unique handmade bath and beauty products. They follow recipes to ensure our product is made correctly and to our quality standards. The Soap Artist has an eye for detail and is able to work with small, delicate pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce our handmade products with care and attention
- Measure ingredients accurately and promptly
- Manage raw materials
- Produce products with speed and accuracy
- Follow all safety and health procedures, and wear all required PPE
- Clean, organize, and maintain workspaces
- Operate machinery, tools, and equipment
- Participate in a work environment that constantly seeks process improvements and new product development
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized
- Ability to stand for long periods (8 hours)
- Ability to work with and around caustic chemicals
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Teamwork skills
- Passion for creativity
- Punctuality and a professional appearance to promote our brand at all times
- Availability for full-time work, 5 days a week (8-hour days), including holidays
