Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years visually impaired experience required. Teacher of The Visually Impaired (TVI) Opportunity in New York. Sunbelt Staffing is working with a school district near Liverpool, New York, to locatea Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI). This full-time position will be working closely with students who have varying degrees of visual impairment and help them develop academic, social, and independent living skills. Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement IEPs for visually impaired students. Teach braille, orientation, mobility, and the use of assistive devices. Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure the inclusion of students in all aspects of school life. Participate in professional development and stay current on best practices in vision education.
