The Role
As a Sr Lead User Experience Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience strategy and leading the design efforts across Lumen's portfolio. This role involves a higher level of strategic mindset & responsibilities, ensuring Lumen's products are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet the needs of customers.
The Main Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership and strategic direction for the UX work, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Refine journey maps and backstage blueprints based on continuous research findings, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Consult on the implications of UX design decisions, providing expert advice to core teams and stakeholders.
- Work closely with core teams to ensure that user stories are appropriately slotted and prioritized.
- Improve usability metrics by making it easier for customers to configure, activate, and manage services.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of UX experience with proven experience in senior UX roles.
- Strong portfolio showcasing leadership and strategic design projects.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
