Overview
The Technical Writer will receive reviewed and completed technical orders and time compliance technical orders from the TO/TCTO editors and complete publishing tasks. Publish all TOs and TCTOs within performance standards ranging from annual reviews of TOs to 30-day TCTOs and also includes 2-day compliance windows for IAVA TCTOs. Attend and/or host TO guidance conferences, IPRs, and the certification & validation events.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with the organizations TO Manager, Technical Order Management Agent (TOMA), and TO Development Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Attend and/or host the following:
- TO Guidance Conferences
- IPRs
- TO Certifications
- TO Validations
- Comply with all timelines given for TOs and TCTOs:
- TO annual revisions
- 30 day TCTOs
- 2 and 3 day IAVA TCTOs
- Work with IA/Cyber Security for IAVA TCTOs
- Update and maintain a running TCTO/IAVA cross reference matrix
- Maintain TCTO compliance matrix reporting completions of TCTOs by organization
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working with and publishing technical orders and publications
- 1-3 years of experience writing and editing technical orders and publications
- Experience with MIL-SPEC-TRA-DOC
- Experience attending and hosting TO Guidance Conferences (TOGC)
- Experience attending and hosting IPRs
- Experience with TO certification
- Experience with TO validation
- Experience utilizing ArborText publication
- Experience assisting with 3rd Party doc CRM reviews
Certification
- Qualified candidates must have an active IAT II certification.
Clearance
- Position requires an active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance.
