Job Description: Production Artist
Empire Today® is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (CC), hands-on experience with all aspects of videography, and a creative eye for storytelling. This role will play a key part in bringing our creative projects to life, ensuring high-quality visuals and seamless execution from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
•Video Production:
o Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for a variety of platforms (social media, internal communications, marketing campaigns).
o Operate and maintain video and lighting equipment to achieve professional-grade production.
o Handle all aspects of videography, including pre-production, filming, and post-production processes.
•Design and Editing:
o Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud to create, edit, and refine visuals for video and other multimedia projects.
o Ensure consistent brand identity across all creative assets.
o Manage and adapt assets to meet specifications for different platforms (e.g., resizing, reformatting).
•Talent Casting:
o Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to identify and cast talent for video projects, ensuring the selection aligns with the creative vision.
o Coordinate and schedule casting calls, auditions, and on-set talent management as needed.
•Creative Collaboration:
o Work closely with agencies, designers, copywriters, and creatives to ensure alignment.
o Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions and project planning.
•Project Management:
o Maintain organized workflows to meet deadlines and deliverables, while communicating with stakeholders.
o Oversee the storage, organization, and archiving of creative files and assets.
o Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
•Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
•Experience in all aspects of videography, including filming, editing, lighting, and sound.
•Preferred experience with casting talent and managing on-screen personalities.
•Strong understanding of visual storytelling and creative composition.
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
•Knowledge of photography and photo editing.
•Experience working in a corporate or agency environment.
•Strong familiarity with motion graphics and animation.
Salary range - $65K - $80K
