Head of Product Marketing . This role will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product marketing strategy for NetSPI’s portfolio of cybersecurity solutions. This individual will lead a small but impactful team of two and collaborate closely with product, sales, customer success, and enablement teams to ensure the successful positioning, messaging, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies for our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience. Responsibilities : Develop and Execute Product Marketing Strategy:
Lead the product marketing strategy for all NetSPI products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and the voice of the customer. Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of two product marketers, ensuring high performance and professional growth. Go-to-Market Strategy:
Oversee the creation and execution of GTM plans for new product launches, updates, and enhancements, ensuring the success of market introduction and adoption. Positioning & Messaging:
Drive the creation of compelling, differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences (e.g., CISOs, security professionals, and IT leaders) in both the enterprise and SMB space. Sales Enablement:
Work closely with the sales enablement team to create pitch decks, product FAQs, case studies, and competitive intelligence, to ensure the sales team is well-equipped to close deals. Customer and Market Insights:
Collaborate with Product Management and Customer Success teams to gather feedback from customers, prospects, and industry experts to inform product development and marketing strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to align on priorities and drive joint marketing initiatives that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and expansion. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product marketing activities, analyze results, and adjust strategies to improve outcomes. Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3-5 years of leadership experience managing teams. Experience in cybersecurity or SaaS products is a strong plus. Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Strategic Thinker:
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies. Collaboration & Influence:
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, influencing key stakeholders without direct authority. Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus. Technical Aptitude : Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and products is preferred, though not required. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical content is essential.
