Overview
The North Dakota Beef Commission (NDBC) is the state agency responsible for collecting and investing Beef Checkoff dollars for promotion, research and education of beef and beef products. The commission's main focus is driving demand of beef for North Dakota beef producers. NDBC is governed by a producer-led board which focuses on strengthening consumer trust and surpassing consumer expectations.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Beef Promotion Intern to join our team! This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience in marketing, communications, and program management within the agriculture sector.
What You'll Gain:
- Hands-on experience promoting the beef industry and its impact on local communities.

- Manage NDBC's social media channels and create engaging content.
- Update and maintain the organization's website.
- Provide communication and administrative support.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, including:
- Best Burger Contest
- School Lunch Promotions
- Nurse Appreciation Week
- Coordinate event logistics and promotional materials.
To be considered for this role, A current full-time enrollment in an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical program within the United States.
- In pursuit of a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, agricultural communications, animal science, journalism, business administration or other related fields, have sophomore standing or above with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Location: Bismarck, ND
Hiring pay: $18/hr.
