The StudentAssistant will work in-office or remotely with the Marketing Manager to develop newcampaigns, design posts, and schedule and strategize content. If you are creative,open to learning new things, and a clear communicator who is not afraid to askquestions, this is a great opportunity for you!**Responsibilities**+ Design posts and stories for the University of Utah Office of Admissions social media accounts in Canvas and/or with Adobe Creative Suite+ Post videos to YouTube page and provide captions+ Create Reels and assist with video content across our programs+ Stay on top of new social media trends and present ideas to capitalize on them to our marketing team and programs+ Work with the Marketing Manager to schedule and plan campaigns, as well as the monthly social media calendar+ Respond to comments/shares/etc. on social media accounts+ Assist in gathering information and content for specific campaigns+ Assist in the creation of our Analytics reports+ Meet weekly with our Marketing Manager to collaborate on projects+ Stay within brand guidelines on all external facing social media posts**Minimum Qualifications**+ Current student within the University of Utah system+ Comfortable in front of a camera (i.e. creating Reels, videos, and live social broadcasts)+ Experience in graphic design, social media management, and video creation/editing+ Knowledge of social media platforms+ Experience with design software (Canvas and/or Adobe Creative Suite)+ Self-motivated and self-starter+ Creative mindset+ Ability to collaborate with a team+ Good communicator, especially via virtual platforms**Preferences****Special Instructions Summary****Additional Information**The University is a participating employer with Utah Retirement Systems (“URS”).
