Job Title: GRA-Advertising and Promotion Excellence Head
Location: Bridgewater, NJ/Morristown, NJ, Cambridge, MA
About the Job
The Director, Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA)-Advertising and Promotion (A-P) Excellence will report directly to the GRA A-P Head and will lead the GRA A-P team transversal department initiatives, in addition to fostering strategic partnership with internal and external stakeholders and overseeing process simplification and ways of working transformation activities.
This role is responsible for overseeing several activities for Global A-P including but not limited to:
- Lead organizational engagement activities to support cultural change aligned with Sanofi Play 2 Win culture
- Strengthen GRA A-P partnership with cross-functional departments through information sharing and global Advertising and Promotion external Landscape analyses
- Optimize Ways of working and evaluate potential process enhancement and simplification
- Oversee technology and digital tool implementation and drive ideation for future opportunities
- Optimization of GRA A-P training opportunities and skill/capability building
- Leadership and Management of 3 GRA A-P direct reports
Main Responsibilities
Leadership and Management:
- Manage a team of GRA A-P professionals to drive delivery of excellence initiatives.
Organizational Engagement Activities and Cross-Functional Partnering Activities:
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive engagement, shape culture and support continuous improvement. Represent GRA A-P for transversal topics to support Sanofi’s product portfolio.
- Accountable for GRA A-P associated deliverables to meet project deadlines.
- Lead GRA A-P department engagement activities such as town halls, training and development initiatives, workshops and information sharing sessions to increase connection.
- Strengthen GRA A-P partnership with cross-functional departments through transversal activities.
Optimize Ways of Working:
- Reinforce and clarify (as needed) existing processes and procedures, drive the adoption of the available flexibility at a global level
- Represent department to drive deliverables and excellence of execution for transversal content creation initiatives
- Partner with commercial, medical and legal partners to ensure consistency of GRA A-P processes
- Management of service provider contracts
Oversight of technology and digital tool development/implementation and drive ideation for future opportunity:
- Represent GRA A-P on digital transversal initiatives and associated cross-functional teams
- Lead GRA A-P regulatory deliverables in support of technology evolution, and Gen AI supported process implementation
- Lead GRA A-P team ideation, for applicable digital/AI supported use-case development
Oversight of GRA A-P training opportunities and skill/capability building
- Lead the GRA A-P training initiatives, to support the global qualification package maintenance and rolls out.
- Identify opportunities for continued education and optimization of skill building cross-functionally within Sanofi on Advertising and Promotion and non-promotional topics.
Performs other duties as assigned.
About You
Job Related, Knowledge, Skills, and Equivalent Experience:
Experience:
- 5-10 years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
Education:
- BA/BS Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Bio-medical sciences (Candidates with Bachelors degree in other disciplines may also be considered provided they have relevant working experience)
