Who you are:
The wire bending technician will craft all types of orthodontic appliances according to doctor's prescriptions. This role is 100% hands on and requires a dedication to excellence and craftsmanship. As you gain tenure you are required to learn about basic oral structure, tooth anatomy, tooth numbering systems and approximately 20 basic orthodontic appliances, with many minor variations, and their functions. This position will require overtime hours in times of increased workload.

Our client NEOlab, or New England Orthodontic Laboratory, is a family-owned and family-run orthodontics manufacturer serving the Boston area. They are located in Andover, MA and are home to more than 120 employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read prescriptions and identify appliance to be crafted
Bend and manipulate light gauge wires to specifications, using multiple pliers
Follow detailed directions
Problem solve as needed
Learn when to ask for assistance and when to independently make decisions
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Keep records of production quantities and time
Work in a stationary position for several hours at a time
Use hands and fingers to manipulate materials for several hours at a time
Exhibit great hand-eye coordination
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
