Job Description
Responsibilities:Responsible for working with senior staff on designing, drafting, editing, and publishing content in a manner consistent with the firm's professional standards.
Graphic Design knowledge
Templates (PowerPoint presentations, social media, thumbnails, website, event flyers, etc.)Branding Materials (Business cards, brochures, practice group overviews greeting cards, folders, etc.)Curate creative material and provide new ideas.
Communications
External Communication: invite to clients, event copy, social media, copywriting, website copywriting, etc.Internal Communication: Attorney announcements, awards, attorney bios, practice group overviews, teaser packages, promotional marketing material, etc.
Social Media
Cultivate social media strategy to support business initiatives.Monitor social media pages and respond to all reviews and messages received by posting positive and responsive message response.Create content and graphics, and develop a monthly social calendar to promote the firm, its attorneys, and practice areas over multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedInEngage employees to follow and share social media posts.Assist with providing review analysis for all media platforms used by the company.
Website
Collaborate with the Technology department to assist with updates as needed.
Blogs
Work with senior staff on approval for strategies on, the social media calendar, and graphics of the blogsWorks with Business Development to provide research for new blog initiatives.
Submissions
Work with the Manager to pull research necessary for submissions of attorney award nominations.Assist with proofreading messaging for blogs, marketing material, websites, articles, and advertisements.
Public Relations
Work with designated public relations team members on join projects identified by Manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience in professional services marketing (preferably in a law firm).Ability to work self-directed with minimal supervision.Superior project management and time management skills, with an understanding of how to prioritize tasks and projects so that resources and time are managed efficiently.Strong acumen for technology systems used by the department.Ability to quickly adapt and execute projects across multiple technology platforms and systems.Fluency working with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).Willingness to take ownership of projects and professional development opportunities to grow and expand any skillsets listed here or later identified as required for this role.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Flexibility, responsiveness, adaptability, and professional maturityAbility to prioritize and delegate tasks when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwareLeadership and ability to work proactively and independently in a team environment.
