First Orion is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager who is a creative storyteller and exceptional writer who wants to expand First Orion's thought leadership footprint in the branded calling industry! Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Content Marketing Manager will fill our content library with compelling narratives that drive web traffic and social media engagement. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Growth Marketing Manager and other colleagues to execute a content marketing plan and must understand how to regularly roll out and create captivating stories, compelling ads, engaging emails, persona-driven web copy, short and long-form content, and more. What you'll be doing:
- Researching, developing, and publishing a range of content formats, including blogs, eBooks, reports, email copy, website content, and more
- Creating deliverables that expand on First Orion's thought leadership in the telecom industry
- Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and customer success teams to develop content that supports initiatives, including case studies, FAQs, and collateral
- Creating copywriting projects and following up on deliverables to meet content deadlines
- Proofreading, editing, and providing constructive writing feedback to other team members
- Work to implement keyword research and strategy to optimize content for search engines
- Management of First Orion's company social media channels
- Crafting compelling marketing, sales, and customer success email content properly targeted to users' intended journeys
- Own and maintain an editorial calendar, ensuring alignment with campaigns and company goals
- Partnering with the Head of Marketing and Growth Marketing to plan and execute the company's content marketing strategy
What you'll need:
- 4-5 years of proven B2B content marketing or editorial experience
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or Communications preferred
- Creative and collaborative mindset to help generate fresh, engaging content ideas
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to take complicated topics and demystify them
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo, etc.) to create and support nurturing campaigns
- Understanding of social media best practices
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and more
- Strong work ethic and enthusiasm to write for our mission
- Optimistic, positive attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Bonus Points:
- Previous experience and knowledge of the telecom industry and SaaS technology
- Certification in Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.
