CALL CENTER Requisition Number : DIREC001772 Posted : February 11, 2025 Employment Type : Full-Time NATURE OF DUTIES: The Director of Patient Access is responsible for leading patient access operations, including scheduling, switchboard functions, and ensuring high-quality service. The Director will drive departmental goals, implement best practices, and collaborate with various teams to maintain operational excellence. This role reports to the VP of Operations. SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead the department to align with organizational goals, set performance expectations, and ensure high service levels. Provide leadership to front office and clinic teams for seamless communication and scheduling. Operational Oversight:
Manage daily operations, including scheduling, insurance verification, and resource allocation. Improve patient flow, reduce wait times, and ensure efficient workflows. Portal Usage:
Promote the patient portal for streamlined communication and access to services. Data & Reporting:
Analyze data to track KPIs and report performance metrics to senior management. Human Resources:
Oversee recruitment, training, and development of team members. Mentor staff and conduct performance evaluations. Staffing & Resources:
Monitor staffing levels, approve time-off requests, and manage departmental budgets. Collaboration & Communication:
Act as liaison between departments to ensure accurate, timely communication. Resolve issues and escalate as needed. Quality & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to policies, HIPAA compliance, and accurate patient documentation. Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes. Additional Responsibilities:
Contribute to strategic planning and perform other duties as needed to meet departmental goals. REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience in healthcare, 3+ years of Healthcare Scheduling Center experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Bachelor’s degree required. CPAM or CHCS certifications a plus. Compensation: Pay starting at $80,000. Pay will be commensurate based on experience. Company Benefits:
