Overview
We are seeking a Web Developer I to support a client in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development, experience working with modern frameworks and databases, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to Agile development teams. The candidate will be a self-starter with good analytical and communication skills who can drive solutions to completion while working in a fast-paced environment.
WORKSITE: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid - Onsite with 2 days WFH)
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-Time
PAY RATE: $38-$40/hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Angular, React/React Native, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Work with SQL Server databases to support application functionality
- Contribute to Agile development processes, participating in sprint planning and technical project schedules
- Ensure performance, scalability, security, and testing considerations are applied to all development efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement application features
- Follow fundamental design principles to build scalable and maintainable applications
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience and training
- Development experience in Java, Angular, React/React Native, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with SQL Server and relational database concepts
- Understanding of performance, scalability, security, and testing best practices
- Knowledge of design and architectural patterns and Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive solutions to completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to contribute to building technical project schedules
