Job Title: Marketing Proposal Writer/Admin
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Marketing Proposal Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for transforming complex concepts into clear, persuasive narratives that resonate with our clients and stakeholders. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, exceptional writing skills, and a deep understanding of marketing principles. This position will also take on office administrative tasks as needed, so demonstrated administrative or customer service experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit high-quality marketing proposals tailored to client needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, design, and project management, to gather information and insights for proposal development.
- Develop and maintain a library of proposal templates, case studies, and other resources to streamline the proposal process.
- Ensure all proposals are consistent with the company’s branding, messaging, and style guidelines.
- Conduct thorough reviews of proposals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in marketing and proposal writing.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing proposal writing or a similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of marketing proposals and related writing samples.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (ideally InDesign and Photoshop).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions and strategies.

Work Environment
Fully onsite in downtown Providence, right off the highway next to Providence Place Mall. The typical work hours are 9-5, but the manager often allows early departures at 2pm on Fridays. The office is located in a convenient area with a parking lot and is a 5-minute walk from the train station for commuters. The work environment includes weekly raffles, wine and design nights, and generous annual bonuses. The company encourages growth and the ability to learn skills from other teams.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
