What you’ll be doing:
Oversee projects from design conception to construction completion while focusing on meeting budget, timeline and client specifications Lead the team of Architects, Engineers and Interior Designers who manage design development, coordinating construction documents and resolve any issues that may arise Support the Principal in Charge in addressing client priorities and maintaining smooth client relationships, while remaining motivated, organized and passionate about projects Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants on projects Mentor and work closely with junior staff to review their work and support their career development Work on multiple projects of varying sizes, providing project management and internal team guidance through every phase of design
What you need:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an NAAB-accredited institution 10+ years of professional architecture experience, with 4+ years of experience overseeing the design documentation and construction process, including managing client relationships Professional licensure preferred Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Newforma Experience in project management including consultant coordination, design and construction document preparation, and field observation through construction administration A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner. Positive energy, flexibility, and resilience are key attributes! Excellent organizational and communication skills with an ability to listen carefully and analyze information Experience managing/mentoring staff The ability to travel to other Baskervill offices or client project locations as needed
