Required Education, Certifications, Years of Experience and Skills: U.S. Citizenship : Required. Current DoD Secret Clearance : Mandatory. Educational Background : Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience or associate's degree with 7 years of experience. Military Writing Expertise : Working knowledge of military writing and other technical correspondence. Microsoft Proficiency : Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Army Staffing Procedures : Familiar with 2-star level Army staffing procedures. Army Knowledge : Possesses thorough knowledge and experience of the Army's organizational structure, mission objectives, functions, procedures, agency regulations, and policies. Location Requirement : Must reside within a commutable distance to Fort Knox, KY to work onsite full-time. What You'd Do in This Role:
Automated Systems and Documentation : Prepare and maintain automated systems and operations documentation, including SOPs, continuity books, OPORDs, policies, user manuals, strategic communications, and memorandums. Customer Support Liaison : Liaise with internal organizational leadership and external personnel to facilitate the creation, review, and editing of organizational documentation. Policy and Document Consultation : Conduct policy and document reviews, providing actionable comments for the client. Meeting Facilitation : Schedule, invite, and track attendees for internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, and records meeting minutes. Client Representation : Attend functional meetings as a client representative, providing summaries of information and following up on meeting minutes. Strategic Communications : Create, review, and edit organizational strategic communications (STRATCOM) for external announcements. Data Migration and Administration : Review file structures and naming conventions for internal data migration, ensuring proper document storage and database content administration.
