Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Vice President of Marketing in overseeing all functions with Marketing Communication
- Assist in set up of Brand Marketing strategy
- Create and communicate a calendar of marketing events to the sales team
- Media select, buying with agencies
- Create sports marketing with agency
- Sponsorship, Event Marketing with agency
- Responsible for creating sports marketing with agency
- Responsible for Sponsorship, Event Marketing with Agency
- Prepare the Marketing Bi-annual President/Vice Chairman Report
- Ad hoc marketing reports for the CEO North America, President at HQ
- Dealer communication material building & planning
- Manage ACE (Online Educational Training Portal)
- Manage Website
- Manage Social Media Agency
- Manage online persona by monitoring search, forums, and review website.
- Manage the App on the iOS Store and Google Play Store
- Operate Retail Rebranding Initiative with Outdoor Sign Agency
- Consumer Promotion Design
- Channel co/Promotion Design
- Monthly activity report to the CEO
Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority:
- Empowered to make decisions within the Region with approval of Executive Vice President of Marketing.
- Authority to make cross functional decisions with the approval of Executive Vice President of Marketing in partnership with peers of other functions.
Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements:
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven leadership skills.
- Supervisory or management experience, preferably of a sales staff.
- Working knowledge of Tire Industry sales market segments.
- Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior Marketing position.
- Prior attendance at formal Marketing training courses a plus.
- Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and
benefits to the support team. - Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel and Power
Point, etc.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Business Management or related field (preferred)
- Five plus years Tire Industry Marketing experience
Working Hours:
Hours may vary and will require evening and weekend work depending on business needs and will require working overtime
Working Environment: Office Environment
Tools and Equipment Used:
Personal computer, e-mail, copier, fax, phone, and other standard office equipment
Travel:
Ability to travel as required
