Job Title: UX Researcher Location: San Antonio, TX (4 Days On-Site, 1 Day Remote) Type: 12-Month W-2 Contract Pay Rate: $55 (Depending on Experience) Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative UX Researcher for a 12-month W-2 contract to join our client’s research team. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for uncovering actionable insights through qualitative and quantitative research. The ideal candidate will excel at gathering feedback, analyzing data, and presenting findings to executive leadership. This position is on-site in San Antonio, TX, four days per week , with one remote workday. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate and Lead Research Projects : Leads, facilitates, and collaborates with cross-functional teams and vendors in executing end-to-end research projects. Feedback Collection and Analysis : Gathers feedback from diverse sources, including contact center interactions, and transforms insights into actionable recommendations. Develop Research Strategies : Determines the appropriate research methodologies, design innovation strategies, and general industry trends to address specific business problems. Utilize Mixed-Methods Research : Conducts advanced-level research using methodologies like surveys, usability tests, focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnographic studies. Executive Reporting : Prepares and presents findings to various levels of leadership through compelling reports, white papers, and research papers. Mentorship and Team Guidance : Mentors peers and team members, navigating obstacles to resolve escalated issues of an unusual nature. Industry Trends and Best Practices : Researches and applies industry best practices to enhance research effectiveness and innovation. Risk Management and Compliance : Ensures business risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in compliance with organizational policies. Qualifications: Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, or related field. Certifications in User-Centered Design (UCD) or equivalent are strongly preferred. Skills & Experience: High-level knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Strong analytical skills to process, interpret, and present findings effectively. Proficiency in tools like SPSS, Tableau, Excel, or other analysis platforms. Expertise in facilitating focus groups , conducting 1:1 discussions, and writing comprehensive reports. Proven ability to communicate insights to executive leadership and influence decision-making. Excellent writing skills, with experience developing white papers and research reports. Knowledge of contact center operations is a plus. Contract Details: Type : 12-month W-2 contract.
