The Opportunity: As a Director, HR Business Partner - Corporate Office (FSC), you will provide thought partnership and business talent strategies to Sephora’s corporate organization while delivering a spectrum of strategic HR support and programs aligned with Sephora’s strategic initiatives. In this role, you will support strategic workforce plans that are aligned with business strategies and objectives and apply diagnosis skills and core metrics to guide and shape appropriate and innovative HR solutions. You will provide recommendations to guide decision-making related to positively impacting the employee experience. Finally, you will be accountable for succession and career planning, while also sharing business inputs with HR Center of Excellence leaders enabling them to create business-focused solutions supporting the organization. You will be expected in office two days a week, typically Tuesday & Wednesday. Note that time in office may vary throughout the year depending on business needs. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Act as a strategic thought partner to Sephora’s Operating Committee and executive leadership by helping to identify areas of opportunity to optimize organization, structure, and effectiveness of HR processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders, and other HR stakeholders to effectively address people-related matters throughout the employee lifecycle. Act as change advocate. Lead change management initiatives to address resistance, communicate the benefits of change, and oversee the implementation of change initiatives, ensuring that they are executed effectively and efficiently. Lead with integrity, knowledge, and courage by providing informed solutions that challenge the status quo. We would love to hear from you if you have: 12+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably supporting a corporate organization along with experience in change management. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience. HR Expertise:
Mastery of all HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and HR compliance. Strategic Thinking:
Ability to anticipate future business needs and develop long-term HR strategies, including workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning. Change Management:
Leading and managing organizational change initiatives, including developing change strategies, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and mitigating resistance to change. Relationship Building & Influence:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Communication & Presentation Skills:
Communicating clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences. Leadership & Inspiration:
Leading and motivating teams, providing coaching and mentorship, and fostering a positive work environment. Conflict Resolution & Negotiation:
Addressing and resolving employee relations issues, mediating conflicts, and negotiating solutions. Business Acumen:
Deep understanding of business operations, financial performance, industry trends, and competitive landscape to align HR strategies with overall business objectives. Data Analysis & Interpretation:
Leveraging data to identify trends, measure HR program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions. The annual base salary range for this position is $200,855.00 - $224,485.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
