Responsibilities: Provide design leadership across the entire organization. Define the design language across Bitwarden products. Create low-fidelity wireframes as well as higher fidelity prototypes for product-driven initiatives. Understand customer journeys and use cases to identify design opportunities and improve existing user journeys. Iterate on code review processes involving design implementations. Build a team vision and strategy for the success and growth of Design at Bitwarden. Own the process, procedures, and decision support for product design and delivery. Facilitate and encourage collaboration through team meetings. Conduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports to provide feedback and discuss professional development goals. Perform annual or semi-annual performance reviews. Direct and manage relationships with third-party design resources. What You Bring To Bitwarden: Strong understanding of industry design patterns and trends for web, desktop, and mobile platforms. Strong visual UI design skills. Experience leading design for consumer products with a large user base. Expertise across the product design lifecycle including user research, user experience, and visual UI design. Experience developing design systems within an organization. Ability to inspire and provide vision direction. Experience building and growing successful teams. Interpersonal skills with the ability to form good relationships with other leaders. Excellent problem-solving skills. An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating a range of artifacts developed in creating UI/UX solutions. What To Expect In The Interview Process: Interview with CTO.
