Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) or any related field
- Licensed professional librarian is a plus but not required
- Experience in library management, cataloging, and research assistance is an advantage (fresh graduates are welcome)
- Knowledge of library systems, cataloging, and classification (e.g., Dewey Decimal System, OPAC)
- Familiarity with basic computer applications and digital library tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Passion for promoting reading, research, and information literacy
- Service-oriented, adaptable, and able to work in a school setting
- Willing to uphold the school’s Catholic values and mission
Key Responsibilities:
- Library Management – Maintain library resources, enforce policies, and ensure an organized learning environment
- Collection Development – Assist in acquiring and updating books, journals, and digital materials
- Student & Faculty Support – Help students and teachers access and utilize library resources effectively
- Library Programs – Organize activities such as book fairs, storytelling sessions, and research workshops
- Collaboration – Work with teachers to integrate library resources into classroom instruction
