$100,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Discover International Salary: $80,000–$180,000 (depending on experience) Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite) Discover International is partnering with a well-funded and fast-growing clinical-stage biotech. We’re helping them identify a Computational Protein Designer to advance their AI-driven protein engineering platform. This is a unique opportunity to apply cutting-edge modeling tools to first-in-class therapeutic design while working closely with teams in Antibody Discovery, Protein Engineering, and Immuno-oncology. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and enhancement of computational design pipelines for peptides, ligands, de novo proteins, and antibody-based therapeutics Apply AI- and data-driven structural and sequence modeling to guide lead optimization Collaborate with lab teams to support yeast display-based discovery Work cross-functionally to support discovery and IND-enabling research Analyze and interpret complex scientific data and communicate results across the business Qualifications: PhD in Bioengineering, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field 8+ years of experience in protein engineering, ideally with yeast display or library-based screening Proficiency in tools such as AlphaFold, RoseTTAFold, RFdiffusion, ProteinMPNN, GROMACS, MOE, or Schrödinger Experience with antibody screening (ELISA, flow cytometry, BLI/OCTET) Demonstrated success in the design or development of therapeutic antibodies or other macromolecules Seniority level
