The Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget (DTMB) promotes a unified approach to information technology management and provides centralized administration of services for departments and agencies in the executive branch of state government.
Agency Services is responsible for delivering all technology solutions to state agency partners and in-turn, state agency citizen, tourist and business clients. This support spans the life cycle of all technology solutions, from development through on-going maintenance and operational support.
This position functions as a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) of an Agency Services team of technology professionals. This position has responsibility for the development, maintenance, operations, and long-range planning for all MDHHS data analytics and visualization solutions and services.
We are looking for a person who understands the value of public service and wants to help meet the needs of our citizens. Above all, we are looking for someone that is passionate about Information Technology services and solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with excellent communication skills who can solve problems and seek effective solutions, as well as establish and maintain effective relationships with business partners and team members. Additionally, we are seeking someone who embraces diversity and creates a team-oriented environment.
The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.
Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Senior Executive Business Relationship Administrator 17
Two years of experience as a professional manager or program/staff specialist, or equivalent experience.
