Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Content Creation Specialist & Community Influencer to join our team. This role is designed for an innovative thinker who understands Gen Z trends, values, and digital behavior as well as our core community audience in Cochise County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging video content that resonates with a Gen Z audience and more, building a loyal online community, driving brand awareness through authentic storytelling, and crafting branded content for local businesses. Additionally, this position involves writing compelling feature articles and integrating video creation as part of the storytelling process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:




• Conceptualize, produce, and at times edit short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).


• Develop visually appealing, trend-driven content that aligns with Gen Z culture and the brand's voice.


• Create branded content for local businesses, including promotional videos and storytelling campaigns that elevate their visibility and resonate with target audiences.


• Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging formats to keep content fresh and relevant.




2. Feature Writing & Video Integration:




• Research and write engaging feature articles that highlight compelling stories, events, and local businesses.


• Integrate video creation into feature stories to provide dynamic, multimedia content.




3. Community Engagement:




• Build and nurture an engaged Gen Z audience by responding to comments, messages, and interacting on social media.


• Collaborate with the community to identify trends, topics, and feedback for future content.


• Organize virtual and in-person events, Q&A sessions, and challenges to foster community loyalty.




4. Brand Representation:




• Act as an authentic influencer for the brand, sharing its mission, products, and services in relatable and creative ways.


• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure content aligns with overall brand goals.


• Serve as the face of campaigns targeting Gen Z audiences.




5. Data Analysis:




• Track and report content performance metrics (views, shares, engagement rates) to identify successes and areas for improvement.


• Use insights to refine strategies and optimize future content.




6. Collaboration and Partnerships:




• Work with other influencers, creators, and collaborators to expand reach and strengthen the community.


• Identify and recommend potential partnerships that align with Gen Z interests.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video content creation, social media management, and feature writing, with a portfolio showcasing creative projects.


• Strong knowledge of platforms popular with Gen Z, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.


• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.


• Exceptional storytelling skills, both written and visual, with an ability to craft compelling feature articles.


• In-depth understanding of Gen Z culture, trends, and communication styles.


• Strong communication skills and an outgoing, authentic personality.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Must live in Cochise County.
