Description: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Designer for a leader in manufacturing in Spokane Valley WA. If you are an experienced Mechanical Designer and meet the requirements listed below, apply today!
Compensation for the Mechanical Designer:
- $54,080 – $72,800 Annually DOE
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid non-working holidays, up to 8% retirement contribution, annual bonus program, profit sharing
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Designer:
- Develop mechanical design documents for equipment production
- Update and revise mechanical drawings as per engineering feedback
- Prepare and release documents to Manufacturing
- Collaborate with engineers, purchasing, and shop floor personnel
- Ensure timely completion of design tasks, maintaining project schedules
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Train other team members as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements of the Mechanical Designer:
- AA/AS in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks preferred
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated
- Ability to work on standard complexity projects
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
