Summer Internship
opportunity at our Spokane office for students currently enrolled in a CIDA accredited Interior Design program. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and an in-depth understanding of the field of interior design with exposure to a range of design projects, specifically in healthcare, hospitality, and housing. As an Interior Design Intern, you will gain valuable experience by working on real projects and contributing to multiple phases of the design process. You'll collaborate with experienced designers and have the opportunity to expand your skill set in a professional setting while receiving specific guidance and mentorship on basic design tasks while contributing to the team's success. Academic credit may be available, depending on your school's curriculum.
Essential Functions:
Assist in preparing and modifying design documents Support the development of design concepts and solutions to technical and aesthetic challenges Prepare presentation boards, mood boards, and other design graphics Participate in material and product research, learning about sustainable and integrated design solutions Work on live projects, assisting with design development and implementation in healthcare, hospitality, and housing sectors Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program, entering your senior year or graduate school Basic knowledge of interior design principles and integrated design Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively within a team Ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently Familiarity with design software such as Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and hand sketching is preferred

This position is a non-exempt position with a pay range of $16.28 to $21.47 per hour. Benefits are not available for this position, other than sick leave, as required by WA law, of one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked.
