Job Title: Production/Broadcast Engineer
Location: Stamford, CT 06902
Schedule: 10-hour shifts – Wed–Sat or Sun–Wed (shift: 8–6 or 9–7)
Pay Rate: $52-$64/hour on W2
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years in TV broadcast or related field.
- BS in Engineering, Communications, or equivalent experience.
Core Skills:
- Hands-on experience with studio/control room broadcast systems.
- Strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of IP networking, HDSDI, SMPTE 2110.
- Familiar with Sony, EVS, Evertz, Grass Valley, RTS, Calrec, Tektronix.
- Experience with Avid Media Composer, Chyron, wireless audio/comms systems.
- Able to read system diagrams and manage system-level integrations.
- Calm under pressure; strong communication and team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Perform system maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
- Lead/assist in system design and integration projects.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and production deadlines.
