Primary Purpose
The Data Analyst will be supporting our Retail Media Network Sales team to drive insights back to our advertising customers (brands and agencies). As an Analyst, Client Strategy & Analytics will be integral in developing the processes and data visualization to provide in-depth analysis and advance reporting for retail media campaigns. This role will highlight areas for improvement to aid brands in creating successful future campaigns and identify optimizations & automations for increasing scale of actionable insights to provide brand & agency clients.
Work Schedule
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office location is Chicago, IL.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Sourcing, identifying, and drawing actionable insights, trends or patterns from media and retail data.
- Supporting clients by providing pre-sales guidance and final campaign reporting & recommendations for our brand clients.
- Partnering with the sales team to present RMN campaign results to brand client teams and clearly articulating applicable media measurement approaches (e.g. attributed sales, incrementality, test/control, retail media concepts, media marketing objectives, etc.).
- Leveraging analytical skills and knowledge of data platforms to create business reviews for top-tier clients, providing strategic insights and showing the relationship between marketing spend & performance to retail sales revenue.
- Asking probing questions to ensure the business problem and the analysis requirements are clearly defined.
- Working cross-functionally with internal teams such as planning, ad ops, account management, product, and more to identify opportunities for brand clients.
- Developing dashboards, reports, and insights to increase efficiencies and value for our internal and external clients.
- Identifying process improvements and areas of optimization, to facilitate the scaling increase in reporting, client requests, and insights generation as part of the overall ADRM team's growth.
- Collaborating closely with BI developers to design, build, deploy, and maintain data models for business intelligence.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- Moderate knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel & PowerPoint) required.
- Project management experience.
- 2+ years of Analytics Experience.
- Experience in platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau, Google Studio, or other BI and Visualization tools.
- Proven experience in using analytics to obtain insights and drive recommendations to improve and optimize business processes and solve business problems.
- Understanding of the business relationship between advertisers, agencies, publishers, and retailers.
- Understanding and experience with ETL, data structures, data modeling, and data warehousing.
- Understanding of different cloud services, such as Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Any digital marketing certifications are preferred.
- Background in grocery and CPG industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with Retail Media or other Ad Technology Platforms.
Salary Range
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $63,400-$95,160
IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $72,880 - $109,320
