About the Role As Marketing Manager , you’ll lead strategic marketing efforts for a portfolio of apartment communities, optimizing lead generation, enhancing property performance, and building strong client relationships. Based in our Fairfax, VA office with a hybrid schedule, you’ll collaborate with a close-knit marketing team and contribute to a culture that values creativity, innovation, and teamwork. Who You Are Strategic & Creative Thinker Skilled in marketing, advertising, and preferably multifamily property management Able to assess property needs and develop tailored marketing strategies Proficient with modern marketing practices (digital, social media, websites, ILS, print, signage) A confident communicator who presents clearly to clients and internal teams Positive, adaptable, and able to juggle shifting priorities with ease Works independently but thrives in a team-oriented environment What You’ll Do Serve as the primary marketing liaison for your assigned portfolio Maintain brand consistency and identify marketing needs across communities Present performance reports, insights, and strategic plans to clients Execution & Performance Monitoring Develop and manage marketing budgets for each property Monitor lead generation, leasing velocity, and ROI Create and deliver marketing performance reports and presentations Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to produce marketing materials Support new property onboarding with signage, digital assets, and collateral Maintain working knowledge of marketing tech platforms to assist teams Qualifications Required: 3-5 years of experience in marketing, ideally in multifamily or real estate Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or equivalent experience Preferred: Working knowledge of Yardi and other property management tools Familiarity with apartment leasing processes and performance benchmarks Understanding of marketing analytics and ROI reporting Organizational Expectations Follow company policies, compliance protocols, and operational procedures Identify areas for improvement and suggest or implement solutions Stay current on industry trends and integrate best practices into your work Work Environment and Travel Hybrid role based out of the Fairfax, VA office Routine local travel required to inspect sites, conduct market research, or attend meetings Why Join Gates Hudson?
