It is an exciting time to join our company's Immunology Team and our growing US Pharma Business Unit as we aspire to become the trusted leader in delivering novel solutions to transform the standard of care for Immune-Mediated Diseases. The Immunology portfolio is a top corporate priority for our company and will be a key growth driver for the US Market and our company. This role will advance the US HCP and Go to Market Strategy for tulisokibart (MK-7240) in IBD; a phase 3 monoclonal antibody directed to a novel target, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-like cytokine 1A (TL1A), in ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD). This position will be responsible for developing and implementing our US HCP Strategy and execution of both field sales and omnichannel campaigns. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to lead and execute a best-in-class launch as the cornerstone of our company's Immunology pipeline, aiming to establish a leadership position in highly competitive markets. The candidate will lead, motivate, and inspire members of the CAT (Customer Agile Team) to drive results and deliver value aligned to the brand strategy & priorities. This high-profile role is designed to position the candidate for future leadership roles. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: HCP Strategy : Lead a cross-functional team (Global, HHDDA, RDMA, and others) to utilize the L3 strategy framework to define our US HCP go to market strategic opportunities and develop operational KPIs to measure pre-launch and launch readiness.
Academic Center and Integrated account Strategy:
Lead a cross-functional team (Global, HHDDA, RDMA, and others) to utilize the L3 strategy framework to define our US market AMC and IAM go to market strategic opportunities and develop operational KPIs.
Branded Campaign:
Collaborate with Global Marketing to define, design and lead development and execution of US branded promotional campaigns and messaging.
Build, lead and mentor a high-performing Customer Agile Team:
Develop and execute comprehensive branded campaigns to successfully launch MK-7240 into the US Market.
Ensure Field Readiness:
Develop go to market readiness plans to support HCP promotion in the US, including training, pre-launch and launch KPIs, Key IBD account and HCP prioritization/segmentation, and lead efforts for launch meeting execution and launch metric tracking and execution oversight.
Represent US Immunology marketing perspective:
on GCTs, global brand development workstreams (creative), insight workstreams (Market research) DDNA, Sales readiness (training), Medical/Legal review, and our company's supply related meetings (S & OP).
Oversee Budget:
Manage budget and spend across agencies, media, and campaign development and execution while managing key AOR relationship.
Partner with other Product Marketing Owners within the Immunology team to drive transparency, coordination, and prioritization across the team.
As a member of the US Pharma Immunology marketing team and cross-functional leadership team, partner with fellow colleagues to invest in each other’s development, build a culture of inclusivity, psychological safety, transparency and stretch our collective team’s thinking by challenging the status quo for the purpose of creating stronger outcomes.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (BA/BS). MBA or equivalent preferred.
Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience across marketing, sales, market access (or related experiences) in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries, and at least 5 years of demonstrated in-line marketing experience.
Previous brand marketing experience.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and executive presence and emotional intelligence.
Preferred Skills: Previous immunology marketing experience.
Understanding of US commercial and regulatory requirements and promotional review.
Experience with US product launches.
Familiarity with agile working model.
