Title: Technical Writer 4 Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP Please note this is the target date and it is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration:

Contract and Hybrid Pay Range:
$45/hr. - $50/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Role: Technical Writer 4 Location :
Fully Remote Typical Day in the Role: * Services to be delivered by the Tech Writer will include: i) Help transform AI safety and security best practices into a range of written materials by writing internally facing reference material, how-to guides, internal documentation, and training presentations, etc. ii) Help write externally facing such as whitepapers, blogs and technical articles aimed at customers and the public. iii) Leverage AeGIS and AeGIS partner Subject Matter Experts' research, notes and information - along with existing reference documentation - to produce written materials listed above. iv) Ensure Azure Dev Ops work items are updated weekly. Progress on deliverables is clearly articulated in the ADO work item description.
The Tech Writer will follow this sequence for producing their written content described above: * Discovery * Initial Draft * Review / revisions * Approval from leadership * Revisions
Job Responsibilities: * Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology * Maintain records and files of work and revisions * Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication
Candidate Requirements * Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: NO degree is required to be eligible for this role. Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or English, journalism, communications helpful. This is a VERY technical position. * Disqualifiers: Candidates without AI experience will not be eligible for the role. Candidates with marketing/writing experience would not be qualified. * Best vs. Average: MSFT experience with Tech Writing. Having Written content for engineering. * Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on how they meet deadlines and quality of work, team feedback.
