N/A POSITION SUMMARY: The Planning & Urban Design Manager/Village Planner directs, manages, supervises, and coordinates the programs and activities of the Planning and Urban Design Division within the Department of Development Services; coordinates assigned activities with other Village departments and outside agencies; and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Director of Development Services, Village Attorney, Village Manager, and the Village Board on planning issues. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Seven years of increasingly responsible planning and management experience in a municipal government environment with at least three years of supervisory experience. Possession of a Masters Degree in Urban or Regional Planning or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
