We currently have an immediate opening for a Marketing Specialist located at our headquarters in City of Industry, CA. Job Summary:The Marketing Specialist performs the daily operations of the Marketing Department. This role supports the development of marketing strategies and implements the strategy to build the company's brand, increase customer engagement, and convert sales leads. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for producing marketing materials, planning and executing tradeshows and events, managing digital marketing via social media platforms and email campaigns, and updating website content. This role will require occasional domestic and international travel to attend tradeshows and events.Essential Functions:Marketing & Content DevelopmentRecommend and launch targeted marketing campaigns (digital, email, social media, print) and track timelines, budgets, and deliverables for successful campaign execution.Assist in creating, updating and distributing marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, press releases, newsletters, infographics, etc.Maintain, manage, and update marketing inventory of promotional materials such as brochures, giveaways, tote bags, etc.Collaborate with Sales team to update customer/dealer list.Send regular eblast communications to Sales and Dealers.Assist Sales in deploying e-mail marketing campaigns.Follow-up on email opens, website visits, leads and overall effectiveness of email blasts.Maintain and manage HubSpot.Assist in compiling and analyzing reports on Google Analytics, Google Ad campaigns, and other campaigns.Compile reports on marketing activity, including marketing performance and KPI's and provide monthly breakdown of marketing spend/budget.Track and reconcile marketing expenditures with Accounting.Support sales and marketing with special projects.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Sales and Marketing.Branding & Public RelationsMaintain and manage Astrophysics online brand presence.Update and maintain company website and AstroNet (tradeshow calendar, product info, press releases, content, dealer access, marketing collateral).Create content and post to social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Google My Business.Establish and maintain public relations, media, and publications contacts.Submit company press releases, advertisements, white papers, and other content to appropriate sources/contacts.Maintain list of company trade associations and key industry and market publications, conferences, etc.Build quality relationships with Dealers/customers to ensure Astrophysics logos, product information and collateral are represented correctly.Tradeshows & EventsTradeshows: Maintain tradeshow calendar, research potential tradeshows, schedule and book approved tradeshows, negotiate with vendors, order materials and services, manage demonstration units, assist with booth design layout, register exhibitors, assist with travel coordination, order and package promotional items, send eblast to leads, follow-up with Sales to track leads and tradeshow metrics to measure success.Dealer meetings and/or marketing events: Research venues and vendors, register attendees, negotiate contracts, coordinate accommodations, activities, and meals/menus, assist with agenda and presentations.Manage the communication for company event participation to internal dealers, staff and partners.Appropriately represent Astrophysics at industry and company events, exhibit product knowledge, and serve as brand ambassador. Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.2-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B/B2G industries.Experience with HubSpot or other CRM platforms and Google Analytics preferred.Experience with SEO and Google Ads a plus.Demonstrated prioritization and multitasking abilities.Takes initiative and follows through until task completion.Effectively collaborates with multiple departments such as Graphic Design, Sales Managers, and other teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with WordPress and Adobe InDesign, or equivalent a plus.Valid passport with ability to travel domestically and internationally.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:Full-time, Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand. Hours subject to change based on the needs of the business.
