Overview
At Saturday Robotics, we’re building autonomous solutions to tame the chaos of daily life — and to meaningfully lighten our load on the planet together. Join us as we gear up to launch out of stealth mode!
About the Role:
You will help define and evolve the DNA of our brand. You will work closely with our Head of Design & Experience, executive team, and external agencies as we transition from a stealth startup to a household name.
As we launch our product, you will ensure our brand is effectively articulated at every employee and customer touchpoint as we look to service more customers. We’re looking for someone eager to apply their skills across design disciplines to our brand as we grow. You will create resonant visual assets, establish our brand presence in the physical world, and design our complete digital experience.
Responsibilities:
- Own our internal design principles and brand identity guidelines
- Ensure a consistent brand voice at every step of the customer experience
- Create ongoing visual assets across a variety of media and for internal products, from presentations to company swag and beyond
- Communicate and present ideas and designs to a cross-functional product development team effectively
- Translate customer research and feedback into optimized design for customer experience
- Test approaches to iterate and improve effectiveness of our brand experience over time
- Build templates for commonly-used specs to maximize efficiency
- Other brand and product tasks as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience:
- A portfolio showcasing your design skills in multiple environments and use cases
- 1-3+ years in a design role--at an agency, in-house, or freelancing
- Proven ability to manage complex interdisciplinary design projects from conception to execution
- Affinity for consumer products and technology-forward products and services
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
- Proficient with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and Figma).
Benefits of Working with Us:
- Health Savings Account with company contribution
- 401(k)
- Stock options
- Generous parental leave policy
- Short/Long term disability and life insurance
Where You’ll Work:
Due to the nature of the job, we expect the majority of your working time to be spent in our office and R&D headquarters located in Watertown, MA.
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Saturday Robotics, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
