The US consumer marketing team for Comirnaty is currently evolving from pandemic strategy & messaging to endemic/seasonal approach, similar to flu vaccination campaigns. Starting this upcoming '24-'25 fall/winter season, COVID-19 vaccines will be given as an annual shot for most people, like flu shots, in retail & HCP offices.
The revax efforts will require a mix of unbranded and branded communications to motivate & nudge consumers. The Senior Manager, US COVID Consumer Marketing will contribute to and operate in a fast-paced environment and flawlessly execute prioritized marketing strategies and tactics to grow consumer adoption of COVID-19 vaccinations.
The role will be directly responsible for driving key elements of the COVID Consumer marketing ecosystem, including ownership of our high priority educational marketing platform and pull-through of related campaign tactics across critical consumer channels (e.g. digital, social, POC, retail), as well as web and search leadership.
The role will require the ability todefine compelling strategies to influence consumer behavior, enabled by strong experience translating data into meaningful information and insights. The ideal candidate is execution- and results-oriented, and has a proven ability to partner and influence across teams, functions, and levels to accomplish objectives. This candidate has experience driving campaigns across media behaviors and through the marketing funnel, and a history of excellence collaborating with agency partners to do so.

Creative development, from concept through launch
Creative best practices
Market research processes and best practices
Media plan development, implementation & optimizations
Media landscape fluency
Business and media key performance indicators
Cross-functional review committee processes as part of content development
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the strategy, development, and launch of our educational consumer platform, as well as the pull-through of that campaign into 360-degree deliverables; support the measurement and ongoing optimization across touchpoints to educate and drive uptake of COVID-19 vaccinations
Develop and maintain agency, cross-functional, and CMO relationships in support of above educational platform, delivering breakthrough promotional efforts and ensuring appropriate synergies and alignments across channels to deliver business objectives
Lead the management and continuous improvement of COVID web and search strategies, ensuring updates and enhancements are based on consumer insights and user data to drive continued growth
Support BAI/ISE and CMO/Media partners in finalizing the data & analytics reporting approaches for the upcoming season for both business and media performance measurement; account for rapid adjustment based on new insights
Manage and monitor the competitive landscape, providing recommendations, assessments, and action plans
Manage all critical workstreams with excellence, ensuring deliverables are met by date and budget partnering with internal cross-functional colleagues (Medical, Legal, Regulatory Review Committee, Business Analytics and Insights, Media) and agency partners
Conduct all responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, with a strong adherence to Pfizer Core Values, including compliance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BS/BA degree required with 7+ years in the pharmaceutical or biotech, device or diagnostic industry, including proven Marketing ability to successfully deliver in fast paced and highly competitive environments
Excellent project management and coordination skills across a complex organizational matrix of cross-functional teams, and success in maintaining productive/collaborative relationships with those internal and external business partners
Experience across consumer touchpoints and channels, including digital/social/website development as well as more traditional communication channels
Be an active contributor to create and operate in anenvironment that continuously encourages the implementation of innovative ideas and fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork across functional teams
An agile mindset, including the ability to move fast in response to what is happening in the external marketplace and find ways to deliver in the face of accelerated deadlines
Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to mobilize key stakeholders and engage senior leadership
Ability to understand Consumer needs and translate these into meaningful strategies and tactics
Ability and eagerness to challenge status quo, act decisively and operate successfully in an empowered organization

An absolute commitment to adherence to all applicable compliance rules and regulations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Pharmaceutical marketing/consumer marketing experience preferred
Experience running/supporting Consumer marketing initiatives preferred (project management, proven ability to manage multiple projects at once, strong team culture and collaboration)
An analytical mindset, including a demonstrated bias for data-driven decision-making and data-centric evaluation of success
Prior vaccines, retail, and/or HCP marketing experience helpful, but not required
Comfort with ambiguity, and complex"white space"environments
Familiarity with Pfizer processes and systems

Work Location Assignment:Flexible
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
