Content Summary: Proposal Writer / Proposal Development Specialist at Rockville, for ExpediteInfoTech Inc Position Summary : The Proposal Writer / Proposal Development Specialist supports the proposal and business development teams in growth activities. This position involves conducting research, proposal writing and content development. Experience in creating compliant proposal responses to Federal solicitations is required. Candidates should have experience collaborating with various stakeholders to develop win themes and value propositions and providing essential proposal development process support. This is a HYBRID position with a highly flexible telework policy. The successful candidate will be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident local to the DC Metro area who is able to work on our W2 and in our Rockville, MD headquarters office on occasion as needed. Responsibilities: Lead the proposal development process and create written content for large contract opportunities ($30M+). Initiate and facilitate the proposal review and development process to ensure alignment in both content and procedure. Conduct interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs), synthesizing insights into compelling proposal content. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and develop key win themes, value propositions, and differentiators. Assist in drafting proposal outlines, editing content, and "one-voicing" proposal materials for final reviews. Support proposal production and coordination, including scheduling and organizing proposal reviews. Develop scoring templates to enhance proposal quality and submissions. Create and design graphics to complement or replace written proposal content. Coordinate and manage all aspects of proposal production, ensuring timely submission and logistical efficiency. Maintain and update content in the Past Performance library. Contribute to marketing efforts by writing and editing content for various materials, outside of business opportunity responses. Integrate capture plan insights and client discussions into both marketing and proposal development processes. Provide training to content writers and staff on industry-leading content writing techniques. Support additional growth activities as assigned. Required Bachelors in English, Literature, Journalism, or Business Writing (preferred) Minimum of three-years writing federal proposals or similar writing experience Experience leading large $30M + opportunities, and a deeper involvement in capturing win themes and technical content development. Experience in content writing, Request for Information, Sources Sought Notices, Marketing and Press Releases Desired : Formal proposal training/certification, eg: Shipley, APMP, SMPS.
