ABOUT THE ROLE
Mansueto Ventures is a dynamic and innovative media company, and the publisher of renowned media brands, Inc. and Fast Company. For global brands, we specialize in creating bespoke, high-impact advertising and marketing campaigns across our media platforms. We are fully dedicated to helping our clients reach their target audiences and achieve their marketing goals and objectives. And as we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a motivated digital sales coordinator to join our team and to support the Vice President of Ad Sales for the Midwest for both titles.
As a digital sales coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth execution of outreach to and support of both our client and agency contacts out of the Midwest region. You will work closely with the VP of Ad Sales for the Midwest as well as the national sales team and leaders, the Mansueto Ventures integrated marketing and digital planning team members, and other internal advertising support teams to help drive revenue growth and maintain high client satisfaction.
This position is remote for candidates based in the Chicago-Midwest area and 3-day hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in-office) for those in the NYC metropolitan area.
Salary range: $61,000-$84,000 + bonus eligible. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, industry, and education.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Assist sales representatives in preparing sales materials, media planning grids, presentations, and proposals for client meetings
- Act as a point of contact for client and agency contacts, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring excellent customer service in support of the VP of Ad Sales for the Midwest
- Foster strong working relationships with the sales team, integrated marketing and digital planning teams, and other internal departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow
Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, contracts, and sales activities
- Manage scheduling of appointments, follow-ups, and other administrative tasks to optimize sales and leadership productivity
Campaign Coordination:
- Assist in processing ad insertion orders and maintain other critical paperwork as needed
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure timely delivery and execution of advertising campaigns, including ad trafficking, billing requests, etc.
- Monitor campaign progress and assist in troubleshooting any issues that may arise
Market Research and Prospecting:
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitive analysis, and audience demographics to support regional sales efforts
- Facilitate regular reports on client campaign performance and metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Assist in analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience in a digital agency role or digital sales required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), plus Keynote, Canva, and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
