WBBH-TV, the NBC affiliate in Fort Myers, Florida is looking for an IT Manager to join our station. You will oversee the IT operations at our station and work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. You will perform daily maintenance on computers, virtual systems, network infrastructure, printers and provide user support. The IT Manager reports to the Director of Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Network topology, core & user access switching, connectivity, and segmentation
- vLAN understanding, segmentation, and IP Management
- VMware & Virtual systems & Management
- Cisco Hyperflex Virtual Systems Management & Understanding
- Wireless Connectivity & usage policies – Hearst, Hearst Guest
- Security Management – Crowd Strike
- MFA, Okta, & Systems Access
- Enterprise AD Management & Understanding – Quest Active Roles / Native AD Tools
- WAN connectivity – circuit usage, including Supplemental, Palo Alto Firewalls
- ITAM – Asset Management - Replenishment
- Service Now functions and Service Catalog – ITIL Worker Interface / End User Interface
- User On-Boarding and New User Setup in SNOW
- Isilon & Qumulo Production storage systems management & understanding
- SCCM Initiatives and Windows Updates – client install and reporting
- WSUS Server Update System
- Share Point Data Stores
- AWS / Azure Cloud Based Systems
- Rubrik Backup Systems
- ENPS Systems & WEB Access – News iPads
- Bit Central Production Systems
- Signiant Transfer Agents
- Streaming & OTT efforts – Up Link
- DMZ – Publicly facing systems – Gateway Switches
- ADC Automation & BOPS Switches
- Software Compliance & Licensing
- VPN Access – zScaler ZPA
- Bomgar system & support
- PDQ Inventory & Deploy
- Lower priority on deploying desktops, updating software, repairing broken hardware, and other functions
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of managed network switches and architecture concepts
- VMWare, Cisco or Microsoft certifications preferred
- Prior experience with a large user base
- Experience in the television broadcast setting preferred
- Experience with networked, stand-alone printers and digital copiers
- Enterprise and web-based applications
- VPN, Cisco equipment, TCP/IP and subnets, NAS, LAN Management
- Communications skills and customer-service attitude
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
- Higher education in technology, SBE certification or related military experience will be considered
