Reporting to the VP of Communications, the Senior Director of Web & Digital Media is to develop institutional strategies and manage initiatives that advance the museum's programs and mission via digital technologies, manage the Web & Digital Media strategies, create winning digital strategies that enable our brand to effectively engage with our target audiences, and own the audience experience across our corporate website creating a demand generation engine that supports the museum's business objectives.

Responsibilities:Lead design, execution, and optimization of integrated digital campaigns including the technology ecosystem for automating, scaling, and personalizing campaignsCreate a global unified digital vision, strategy, and experience across multiple touchpoints and stakeholdersConfigure data flow and tracking across our systems, enabling accurate tracking and reportingDefine channels, pipeline targets, and content development needsDevelop a culture of ongoing testing to drive continuous optimization and resultsManage the hiring, developing, and retaining of digital marketing talentDevelop and implement the overarching digital content and technology strategy for the Museum, supporting the efforts of the marketing, communications, curatorial, visitor experience, graphic design, information technology, publications, education, development, and retail departments.Manage the development, implementation, and budget for all major digital media projects.Manage the development, production, writing, and editing of all content on lacma.org, in collaboration with project stakeholders.Strategize and manage the use of mobile technology (iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.) to access information about LACMA, its collection and programs and/or enhance the visitor experience.Supervise the upkeep and technological development of LACMA's digital platforms, including the website content management system and articulate technical specifications for project deliverables.

Qualifications:B.A.; 7-10+ years of experience in related digital mediaExperience building and managing both an internal team and agency partners, ensuring organizational structures complement one another, productivity is maximized, and accountability is consistent.Experienced with the use of data, analytics, and data science techniques to impact marketing approach, optimization and test and learn framework.Exceptional understanding of all digital marketing and analytics aspects, especially paid search, affiliate, display, retargeting, email and social media.Ability to craft clear, compelling recommendations supported by solid analysis and business logic and articulate them to the organization to support the request; including use of data visualization techniques.Ability to provide vision and direction to senior leadership, while translating plans into focused and manageable goals to the direct team.Proven ability to build and deploy robust multi-channel digital plans with demonstrated growth and success.Comfortable with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving growth environment and ability to successfully juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines.
