Senior Product Designer(Eric Lee's backup)Location: Pleasanton, CA ( Hybrid model)Type: Long term contract or 6 months C2HBill Rate: $120/HR

The ideal candidate will have a customer-first mentality as well as grounding in design thinking to rethink our business. A deep understanding of customer research, knowledge gathering, ideation, prototyping, design process and concept visualization/prototyping are vital for this role.

This position reports to the Director of Product Design and their key responsibilities include:Helping to craft the strategic vision for the product experience by creating concepts and prototypes that drive strategic alignment.Collaborate with product management to define best-in-class customer and associate experience, approach, and vision for key fulfillment initiatives.Lead and own end-to-end design process of product features and iterations, drive design requirements.Independently identify opportunities where research can inspire, optimize, or evaluate the design.Structure customer research in partnership with the UX research team.Develop insight-driven design with a clear POV to make strong recommendations.Deliver design solutions that drive competitiveness.Autonomously leads and motivates cross-functional teams throughout the entire life cycle of product development.Define and measure metrics to track customer satisfaction specific to leading initiatives.Champion design thinking philosophy throughout the organization.If necessary, coordinates with outside vendors to ensure their work is delivered on time and on scope.

What we are searching forQualifications:Education/Experience:5+ years relevant professional experience required, BS/BA degree required, Graduate studies preferred

Communication Skills:Must be able to clearly communicate, sell, persuade at all levels of management, up, down and across organization.

Design Specific Skills:

5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: user experience, information architecture, or creative design.Internet and retail experience strongly preferred.Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills.Advance in design and prototyping tools (eg. Figma)Usability and customer-focused design experience required.Passionate about building great user experiences and solving customer and business problems.
