POSITION SUMMARY

Senior Designers

are directly involved in a range of project types, exploring form, material logics, and details with a strong focus on resolving projects at every scale. As a key member of project teams, you will communicate directly with consultants and owner teams while working directly with Principals to implement, oversee, and execute the project. The role requires exceptional organizational, collaboration, and communication skills and a desire to lead project team members with words and actions. An exacting eye for quality and deep investment in the logistics and details of a project will be required on a daily basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDrive the development of complex and multi-faceted projects - locally, nationally, and internationallyCoordinate design efforts with the internal team and project consultants while monitoring and contributing to the development of project deliverablesInterpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments and tasks, establishing priorities for project development and resolving key questions and challenges

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIESContemporary and creative design sensibility with strong conceptual and problem-solving skillsExceptional leadership skills and ability to generate buy-in from clients and project teamsConfidence in generating solutions and expanding on information provided by others through exploration of alternate possibilities and by asking the right questionsExceptional graphic, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent analytical capacity and ability to generate and apply research to specific issues and project or program requirementsDemonstrated understanding of technical project development, detailing, and systemsStrong hand and technical skills, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and 3D modeling (experience developing construction documents in Revit® required)Must demonstrate robust work ethic and be resourceful and proactiveAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projectsCollaboration and teamwork are essentialDetail oriented with a commitment to design excellence

REQUIRED EXPERIENCEProfessional Degree in ArchitectureSix (6) to Ten (10) years of experienceRegistration preferred
