The Analytics and Data Science team within the GDC is focused on enabling data-driven decision making by providing data and insights to measure marketing’s performance and impact, understand the customer experience, and develop advanced models for marketing.Are you passionate about data, analytics, and digital marketing? And all of that whilst working in the dynamic, competitive, customer-focused, and data-rich world of cloud-based business products (Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and M365)?As a Marketing Data Analyst in the GDC, you will be responsible for the creation of analysis and insights that deliver results to stakeholders with rapidly evolving requirements. We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst who is curious, and able to use rigorous analytical techniques combined with data skills to develop scalable, efficient, and effective analytical models, at times taking a deep dive into data to tell a story. In addition, this Marketing Data Analyst is someone who values cross team collaboration, building on the successes of others, is detail oriented, comfortable with ambiguity and contributes to a diverse and inclusive workplace.Responsibilities

Partner with key business stakeholders to deliver business reporting and drive insights creation-to-consumption to stakeholders across all levels. You will share and simplify relevant findings and insights and ensure the presented results are accessible and accurate. You’ll support and/or consult with other teams and identify relevant data-driven recommendations.Manage insight creation and delivery (in collaboration with the team); drive the engagement model with stakeholders, lead business problem definition and hypotheses formulation, and develop solution design to support business decisions and outcomes.Demonstrate leadership in business and data landscape, standardized reporting, experimentation, and analyses to support performance discussions across multiple channels. You will identify and leverage appropriate data sources and contribute to developing recommendations and analytical frameworks, determine appropriate analytical techniques and critically evaluate assumptions.Apply a customer/stakeholder-oriented focus and user experience and design best practices to ensure data analysis is easily consumable through visualization, presentation, and storytelling.Help the business leverage data and insights in a transformative way to move beyond descriptive KPIs to enhance our ability to inform on marketing efforts and increase efficacy of our approaches.Partner with Data Services on technical requirements to enable data availability, data quality, transformations, and integrity for analytics and the wider business self-service usage.Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related fieldOR equivalent experience.Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 3+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysisOR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysisOR equivalent experienceAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience applying them to data from disparate sources.Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, and MS BI Stack (SSIS, SQL Data tools, Connectors, etc.), and PowerPoint.Experience with EDA, data wrangling and mining using SQL, ETL processes, Data Warehouses and other big-data technologies (e.g., Synapse, Databricks, Cosmos, ADL).Experience with Python or R and applying statistical techniques to extract insights.Ability to deal with ambiguity, take high-level requirements, and work independently and within a team environment with consistent follow up, organization and prioritization skills, and excellent attention to detail.Experience analyzing B2B marketing data, such as Adobe web clickstream, paid media and social data, email, in-product messaging, and lead and account profile data.Demonstrated statistical and machine learning competency to handle extremely large data sets to reveal patterns, trends, and associations, from behavioral and interaction data.Data Analytics IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $80,900 - $162,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,300 - $176,900 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
