PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide architectural design for schematic level drawings through construction documents. Provide daily coordination and collaboration with in-house multi-disciplinary design staff and outside consultants for commercial, industrial, and residential building projects.Involvement in all phases of design and leading/assisting with presentation, production drawings, permitting, detailing and project management.Participate in multi-disciplinary design process to ensure compliance with cost, time, quality, and quantity objectives.Maintain high satisfaction of clients through superior service, timely production, prompt responsiveness, and a thorough understanding of client objectives.Familiarity with local building codes, jurisdictions, permitting process and documentation.Work well with team members and be able to take direction and work independently.Provide daily coordination of in-house multi-disciplinary design and drafting staff.Assist with proposals.Drafting of presentations drawings and construction drawings.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:2-6 years of experience as architectural designer/drafter.Minimum of 2 years of experience using Autodesk Revit.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with understanding of architectural detailing and code knowledge.Proficiency in Adobe In-design.Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to be flexible with changing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSSitting (or driving) in a normal seated position for extended periods of time.Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), i.e.: using a keyboard.Ability to see within normal parameters.Ability to effectively communicate verbally in person, email and via phone.
