As an Editor Advocate at Sequence, you will be the vital link between our product team and the video editing community. Your role will encompass content creation within Sequence, engaging directly with professional editors, educating them about our tools, and playing a key role in shaping our go-to-market strategy. This role is perfect for someone who has a deep passion for film and video, excellent video editing skills, and a penchant for working with early-stage software and technology development.Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Utilize Sequence to create engaging, high-quality video content. Demonstrate the capabilities, features, and benefits of Sequence through both long and short-form video editing.Community Engagement:
Act as the primary interface with the video editing community. Attend industry events, workshops, and online forums to engage with professional editors, gather feedback, and understand their needs.Educational Initiatives:
Develop and lead educational programs, tutorials, and webinars to educate the editing community about Sequence and its innovative features.Collaboration with Product Team:
Work closely with the product team to relay community feedback, contribute to product development, and assist in creating a user-friendly experience.Go-to-Market Strategy:
Collaborate in developing and implementing effective go-to-market strategies that resonate with the editing community.Qualifications:
Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing both long and short-form content.Deep understanding and passion for film and video editing.Experience with early-stage software and comfort with technology experimentation.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate a diverse audience.Ability to provide constructive feedback and insights to the product development team.Willingness to travel for industry events and community engagement.Preferred:
