Are you a strategic-thinking self-starter?Do you have a strong Marketing background and experience working with Sales teams?Global Key Accounts - Senior Marketing ManagerYou will be part of the Corporate Regional Marketing Team, responsible for the development and implementation of an impactful marketing strategies to engage key accounts outside of pharma and biotech industries in North America and Mature Europe. This includes engineering, technology, and manufacturing industries, among others.You will support the short-term commercial needs and long-term relationship management of the global key accounts segment, contributing to successful account renewals and driving growth while also establishing Elsevier as a trusted partner. You will have a strong alignment with a complex sales team, stay attuned to market needs, and establish yourself as an expert on engaging complex, strategic accounts.Your responsibilitiesSupporting and strengthening relationships with approximately 40 global key accounts in sectors outside of Pharma/BioTech accounting for a substantial portion of Elsevier’s $350MM corporate R&D business;Developing the GKA/segment marketing plan with clear objectives aligned with commercial goals, focused marketing strategy and impactful marketing activities based on data-driven decisions in close alignment with local sales teams. Utilizing market insight and campaign results to adjust marketing plan to ‘test, learn and iterate';Building strong ties with regional stakeholders, both internal (sales, product, central marketing) and external (customers, key partners, societies) to align on priorities, staying attuned to commercial needs and effectively design marketing programs reacting to market needs;Maintaining a deep understanding of channel behavior (including account-based marketing, digital/social communications, conferences) and effectiveness in relation to the segment and audience;Obtaining and disseminating relevant market intelligence to internal stakeholders;Delivering user feedback and case studies that demonstrate the impact of Elsevier product(s) on business outcomes;Managing the measurement and follow-up of all marketing deliverables to assure proper tracking and to refine future plans.What you should bringHave experience in research-related field and/or business/marketing;Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Master's degree preferred;Have 7+ years of Marketing or related business experience;Have experience with complex sales organizations and/or large multi-national companies;Have effective communication skills, comfortable working in a matrixed environment;Have marketing planning skills, account-based marketing, and a strong history of delivering impact based on market insights and strategic priorities;Have solid interpersonal and networking skills to interact at all levels within the organization;Fluent in EnglishOccasional travel to an account or conference (
