CAD Designer

summary We are seeking an entry level CAD designer that posses a passion for design in the Manufacturing Industry! This role will require an individual that understands operating in an office role as well as an operations role specifically in a Manufacturing setting. Qualified candidates will work in a team environment along side Manufacturing Engineers, Production Supervisors and Quality Inspectors. Responsibilities: Using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to prepare technical drawings Working with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications Writing related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates Ensuring that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards Maintaining a library of standard drawing templates Updating existing drawings as new information becomes available required-skills: 1 to 2 years of drafting and graphic design. Must know one of the following; AutoCAD or Solid Works with at least 1 to 2 years of experience Must be willing to learn and work in a Manufacturing environment. Sit for up to 8 hours Relevant work experiencerequired-experience: 2 years
