Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Plumbing Designer ,
we'll count on you to
•Provide plumbing system design and layout utilizing AutoCAD and Revit, including coordination with all discipline
•Perform calculations, equipment selection and other related design tasks under the guidance of the Project Manager and other senior technical staff
•Execute plumbing system design and drawing preparation under direction of the Project Manager, system narratives and system layouts for a variety of project types and size
•Design various plumbing system types under the guidance of the Project Manager
•Work with the internal design team as well as external clients and consultants, including owners, builders, developers, program managers, contractors, architects, vendors, etc
•Manage construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection report
•Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
AutoCAD and/or Revit iBIM or 3D experience required
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
•5 years of experience including fire protection or fire sprinkler system
•Certified EIT preferred, CPD, LEED AP or Medical Gas Design Certification a plus.
•Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required
•Local candidates are preferred.
