As the Food and Beverage Marketing Specialist, you will Assist the Senior Marketing Manager with the creation, setup and execution of food & beverage related marketing-activated events. Role requires planning and support from multiple departments including advertising, marketing, facilities and culinary teams. Job requires social media content creation. Experience in graphic design, social monitoring and budget tracking preferred.
Where You'll Make an Impact:
Maintain, update and monitor social networking sites and content plans (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, YouTube). Assist in brainstorming and creating new social media campaigns to help increase social engagement and create fun, engaging content including the creation of video Instagram reels and utilizing programs such as Canva, Splice and Cap Cut. Assist with creative social media sweepstakes to drive traffic and engagement onto the platforms. Generate weekly recaps depicting success of social networking sites and all major events including event synopsis, event photos, promotion of event, etc. Track and report weekly social media statistics (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.). Create and manage all enter-to-win forms and contests for upcoming promotions in an effort to grow our loyalty database and revenues. Learn and assist with Marketing Plans for larger events. Update internal marketing & events calendar. Create monthly event calendars to be released to the public via social networking sites and e-blasts. Organize photo gallery for use on website and social media, as well as for department use. Posting of major programs on local/regional event and blog sites. Upload and organize database, assisting in e-mail campaigns to specific lists. Proof and edit verbiage for onsite collateral including poster boards, menus, and check presenters. Understand the Job Request process for collateral (flyer, poster, menu, LED, etc.) and assist in the process from creation through approval. Generate recaps of all major events including event synopsis, event photos, promotion of event, etc. Assist at venue wide events, game watch parties and ticketed events as requested. Attend weekly staff, marketing and event meetings as requested. Provide input on all aspects of marketing and assist in the creation and development of new events and promotional/marketing materials. Assist with graphic design requests and oversee digital assets and collateral creation including specific advertisements, social media graphics, poster boards, LED displays, menus, and more. Maintain and update website (events, photos, hours of operation, contests, etc.) information. Recognize and understand the components of sponsorship, public relations, sales, and operations as well as its importance in our industry. Respond to online reviews and escalate as necessary. Experience utilizing graphic design programs including Adobe Creative Suite which includes Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Knowledge of the components of sponsorship, public relations, sales, and operations as well as its importance in the hospitality industry. Experience creating video Instagram reels and utilizing programs such as Canva and Splice. Experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tik Tok, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics Good understanding of social media KPIs Familiarity with web design and publishing Excellent multitasking skills Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Confident and outgoing personality.
