As a Lead Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls organization, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications and platform products. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of cybersecurity challenges that span multiple technology domains.

Job responsibilities

Guides the evaluation of current cybersecurity principals, processes, and controls, and leads the evaluation of new technology using existing standards and frameworksRegularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendorsWorks with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerabilityServes as function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focusActively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life CycleInfluences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologiesDefine the technical target state of the product architecture and design, and drives achievement of the strategyDeliver threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities in product design and provide control recommendations to mitigate those risksIdentify security risks and emerging threats associated with the product as well as any dependenciesBrief stakeholders on key security risks and emerging threats associated with the product, technology stack, and customer baseLeads evaluation sessions with external vendors, acquisition and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of cybersecurity designs, technical approaches for integration with existing systems and cybersecurity architectureRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on architectural security patterns and/or frameworks concepts and 5+ years applied experience.Hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise level cybersecurity solutions and controlsAdvanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable, in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architectureExperience leading and running technical teams of architects and/or engineers.Experience producing threat models as it relates to enterprise communication and collaboration productsHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAbility to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge as it relates to Employee Platforms technologies preferred for the roleExcellent command of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, threats and vulnerabilities preferred for the role
